Innovative solutions for the pharmaceutical industry

Since starting up in 1978, Tecninox has designed and made a large number of aseptic process systems for drug production that integrate automatic management of the C.I.P. (Clean in Place) and S.I.P. (Sterilization in Place) operations. The experience gained in this sector has allowed our company to develop standards on specific applications for the top pharmaceutical companies, also actively working together with the most important engineering companies of the sector.
For over ten years now, TECNinox has engineered and offered many innovative products to the world market, and certainly considers itself a pioneer in this sector: thermostat sanitary joints, magnetic drive mixers for reactors, aseptic joints and bioreactors for microorganisms.

TECNinox markets its products plus those of the ITT Industries and Rath Manufacturing Co. Inc. for applications in the transport of pure fluids in the pharmaceutical and food sectors.

Brevetti C.E.A. S.p.A.

Created in 1957 by a group of experts in the drugs sector, Brevetti C.E.A. started out by producing machines for washing, reordering and packing ampoules and especially the first semi-automatic machine for inspecting their contents. This machine was highly innovative at that time and enjoyed exceptional success. For the first time an apparatus capable of assuring greater security and reliability compared with the results obtainable from traditional visual control methods was offered. The target, however, was to develop completely automatic, fast and totally safe systems for this delicate processing stage.

This goal was reached in 1982 and perfected continually over the following years to obtain the present equipment and systems.

Today Brevetti C.E.A. has a workforce of over 100, including several mechanical and electronic graduated engineers. It employs the most up-to-date technical and scientific equipment and makes use of outside contractors traditionally specialized in high-precision manufacturing. 10% of the staff is engaged in research, carried out in collaboration with top Italian universities. After almost fifty years of business, Brevetti C.E.A. is recognized at an international level as one of the leading producers of advanced systems for the drug industry, with more than 600 machines installed in more than 50 countries worldwide.

The company received the standard ISO 9001:94 certification in 1997, updated to the estandard ISO 9001:2000 during the year 2003.

Fedegari Autoclavi S.p.A.

Fedegari Autoclavi S.p.A. is one of the very few worldwide trendsetters in the manufacture of sterilizers and plants for processes using dense-phase fluids.

The the company was established in the early 50s by Fortunato and Giampiero Fedegari.

From those early days Fedegari has retained its craftsmanship, which today allows great flexibility, and has combined it with the requirements of a leading-edge industrial system.

Fedegari has been developed a special category of products named " Special Applications" for which standard machines are not adequate. Some of these machines were developed in close collaboration with Fedegari's Customers in order to meet special production requirements.

In this way, these machines are now offered regularly to the Fedegari's clients.

Some of the most significant examples are steam sterilizers with washing and sterilization cycle for elastomeric closures processes for sterilizing high-pathogen materials, sterilizers with rotating loads and plants using liquid or supercritical CO2 for special applications.

Knowledge of the processes and of their critical aspects of application has allowed Fedegari to provide components and systems which have unique features. In this aspect, the accessories such as the trolleys, automatic loading systems or product trays, are these which complete the supply. The accessories are very important but is sometimes a factor whose importance is often underestimate.

These products are entirely made of stainless materials which are compatible with the pharmaceutical applications, being designed so as to allow extremely low-cost maintenance.

Bonfiglioli Pharma Machinery has been established due to the ever increasing stringent quality control requirements in the pharmaceutical production sector. The company has generated from an extensive experience of almost 30 years of research and development in micro-leak testing in packaging of every type, shape and dimension.

For almost thirty years we have successfully controlled the integrity of any container; our Mission being to provide the most effective technology available in the market.
