Transformer Treatment

The Pall HTP070 transformer purifier is specially designed to allow purification of the oil and dehydration of the paper while the transformer is in full operation. Equipped with fail-proof safety features, the  HTP070 is fully automatic and performs unattended. The HTP070 mass transfer process takes advantage of the internal water dynamics between the paper insulation and the insulating oil. The unit virtually  eliminates all gases and moisture in the oil and the paper, safely, automatically and efficiently.

Pall HTP070  combines mass transfer dehydration, degasification, and particulate control with comprehensive safety, monitoring and trending capability for the online/onload  treatment of power transformers.

Load Tap Changers 

Pall Ultipor® WG filters combine very fine filtration down to 1 micron with water control in one small filter envelope. The special medium rapidly clears the oil of carbon particles and removes virtually all free and emulsified water in the dielectric oil and virtually all gases from the oil and paper. The filters are used in small cabinets to automatically re-circulate oil and to keep the contacts pristine for consistantly  smooth operation. This eliminates the need for on-site treatment and reduces overall maintenance costs. By removing carbon particles   and water, Pall Ultipor WG filters maintain high oil dielectric strength  (typically above 55kV), protect contacts and reduce arcing. 

The 2804 assembly equipped with Ultipor WG media stops fine carbon particles and water to protect LTC  contacts, preserve fluid life and extends maintenance  intervals of load tap changers.

Circuit Breakers 

Pall 2618 series elements are designed to combine high removal  efficiency down to 1 micron with long service life. Fitted with Ultipor WG or Ultipor III media, the filters have a large surface area in a small envelope. The long-lasting design allows treatment of more breaker reservoirs, lower frequency change outs and consistent performance.

Boiler Feed Pumps

Maintaining optimum operation and reliability of boiler feed pumps is the task of Pall particulate and water control products. Turbine or  hydraulic driven pumps are protected against abrasive wear by Pall Ultipor III beta-rated filters, and against moisture by Pall mass transfer dehydrators. The compact, portable Pall HNP and HVP purifiers maintain water content well below saturation (down to 20% relative humidity in the oil), while Ultipor III media construction ensures consistently clean oil and long element life. 

Coal pulverizers and ID/FD fans

The cleanliness of the lubrication systems on pulverizers and fans is critical to ensure maximum availability and reliability of the equipment. Pall range of lubrication filters are fitted with Ultipor III media to ensure that the pulverizer gear boxes and fan bearings are protected against abrasive and fatigue wear.
