1. Clarification

It has the task of removing raw impurities (100 microns) as well as the somatic cells (standard: 400,000 cells/ml) and the casein, protecting the processes subsequent to the filtration.

2. Sterilization

It ensures the absolute biological protection of the products which cannot be sterilized with the help of high temperature (sensitive to high temperatures, high viscosity) meant to observe HACCP and GMP standards.

The utilities used on an industrial purpose constitute a very important aspect within the production process. This aspect must be treated, with maximum importance, because it leaves its mark especially upon the characteristics of the finite product, as well as upon the optimization of the entire process from the technical-economic point of view.


1.Sterilization of the air - it guarantees that it is not a source of contamination

Solution - filtering cartridges with a degree of sterilization of 0.2 μm

- Filtration of the water -  Solution - Pre-filtering the water through an absolute rated depth filter and then sterile filtering through a 0.2µm membrane filter.

- Filtration of steam -  Solution - A stainless steel filter using Pall PSS 316L porous media will remove particles and rust contaminants, thus alleviating these problems.

 

2. The purification/sterilization of gases

The impurities in the inert gases (CO₂, NO₂), as well as in the air may affect the uniformity of the characteristics of the finite product. Process Engineering offers to its customers the solutions of Pall technologies both for the purification of the air and of CO₂, as well as for the diminishing of the risk of saturation with carbonic acid.

3. The purification/sterilization of water
